SAN FRANCISCOThoma Bravo, LLC, a leading private equity investment firm, has announced the promotion of Chip Virnig to Partner. He previously served as a Principal at Thoma Bravo.

Virnig joined Thoma Bravo in 2008 as an Associate, with previous experience as an analyst at Merrill Lynch. Virnig earned a B.A. froBrown University with dual majors in business economics and commerce, organizations and entrepreneurship.
