For our first Portfolio Spotlight, we are excited to highlight the work ConnectWise is doing to help small and medium sized businesses (SMBs) navigate some of the business challenges resulting from COVID-19 as well as the creative ways they are giving back to the IT community.

  • Dedicated Resource Center – ConnectWise is providing 24/7 support and maintaining a dedicated resource center for its small business partners to help them transition to a remote working environment and secure their environments. In addition to tips and solutions for remote working and cyber security, the resource center offers loan resources, information on the SBA Payroll Protection program, updates on legislative efforts, and links to helpful information about relief programs for SMBs.
  • Webinar Series – ConnectWise launched a weekly webinar series aimed at arming its community of partners with relevant, up-to-date information on COVID-19 developments. The webinars consist of discussions with experts on a range of subjects, including the CARES Act and other relief programs, the Family Medical Leave Act and sick pay, and geo-specific challenges to SMBs and employment-related issues in the UK and Australia.
  • Product SupportConnectWise products are particularly valuable during this global pandemic, providing remote access and security solutions for small businesses and those that rely on small businesses. ConnectWise made its ConnectWise Control Remote Workforce available at no cost for 90 days and provided 100 licenses to its customers for Continuum Fortify for Endpoint Security with full SOC support until the end of June. Additionally, ConnectWise is working with its customers to provide billing flexibility during this time.
  • Fundraising Efforts – Leveraging the ConnectWise Foundation and the power of its IT Nation Community, ConnectWise combined music and humor to launch a Hand Wash Karaoke Challenge fundraising campaign, calling for individuals to film themselves singing their favorite song while washing their hands and then donating to the cause. To further the mission of the Foundation and to continue to provide tangible relief to SMB IT providers, the Foundation is also tapping its community to creatively raise funds and awareness for the small IT providers during this time and beyond, helping the individuals and small businesses that power other small businesses.
