Portfolio Company Spotlight features Hyland, a content services software provider to industries including financial services, government, healthcare, higher education and insurance. During the COVID-19 pandemic, Hyland has been providing critical services to facilitate remote work and financial support for healthcare workers around the globe. Here are some of the specific ways that Hyland has been providing support to these groups:

  • Supporting Remote Work: Hyland initially offered multiple software solutions at low or zero cost to empower remote workforces, ensure business continuity and respond to changes in staffing and demand caused by the pandemic. For example, Hyland offered customers a free crisis management app which allows businesses to track and support individuals and supplies during emergencies; a free six-month pilot to its OnBase Web Server to provide workers with remote access to data and documents; and free eLearning courses to support employee skill growth. Hyland also launched a webinar series to help its customers create plans for remote work and created a COVID-19 Hyland Community Forum for customers and partners to share support and resources during this time of massive upheaval.
  • Providing Free Healthcare Solutions: Hyland Healthcare continues to offer six months of free access to multiple software solutions to support healthcare providers in the fight against COVID-19. Hyland’s solutions can streamline patient data and let providers focus on delivering vital care, rather than spending valuable time on administrative tasks. For example, NilRead, Hyland’s enterprise and diagnostic viewing solution enables radiologists to make diagnostic image interpretations remotely, while Hyland’s PACSgear Image Link Encounter Workflow allows providers to track and manage point-of-care ultrasound images, ensuring these images are accessible alongside other medical images stored in an enterprise image repository. Finally, its Electronic Signature for Remote Care enables patients to remotely sign and complete necessary health forms, thus reducing person-to-person contact and preventing the spread of COVID-19.
  • Fundraising for Health Workers: To demonstrate its gratitude for the global healthcare community’s extraordinary efforts, Hyland and its employees have been donating to the nonprofit Direct Relief, which supplies healthcare workers around the world with PPE and medical essentials. Hyland also made a $10,000 donation to The Foundation of FirstHealth’s COVID-19 Response Fund, which is supporting front-line healthcare workers in the mid-Carolinas. Hyland also organized a virtual 5K run and one mile walk for employees to raise awareness and say thank you to healthcare workers around the world.

We are so proud of how Hyland is supporting remote work and the global community of healthcare workers. Thank you, Hyland!
