Tom Davis is a technology partner with Thoma Bravo. He brings more than 25 years of experience in technology and enterprise software. During his career, he has served in a variety of positions including quality assurance, software development, engineering management, product management, architecture, CTO and CEO. Notably he orchestrated several engineering turn-arounds and managed both large strategic acquisitions as well as small tech tuck-ins, with a focus on creating enterprise value growth. Tom served as CTO of Ivanti, CEO of mobile startup Celio, chief platform architect at Avocent, EVP of Research and Development at LANDESK, and CTO of the software and services division at Intel. Tom has a BS degree in Electrical Engineering from Brigham Young University and continued his education at Westminster College and Cal Berkley. He served in the United States Air Force and graduated with honors in the top 10% of his class.
