Nik Troe is a senior associate on the Tax team at Thoma Bravo. Based in Chicago, he joined the firm in 2025 to assist with tax compliance and reporting for the firm’s buyout funds. Before Thoma Bravo, he spent four years in the real estate tax group at KPMG. Nik holds an M.A.S. in accounting with a tax specialization from the University of Illinois and a B.S. in accounting from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
