David Lopez is a senior vice president on the Investor Relations team at Thoma Bravo. Based in Miami, he joined the firm in 2026 and leads investor coverage and capital formation across Latin America. Prior to Thoma Bravo, David was director and co-head of alternatives capital formation for Latin America and U.S. offshore at BlackRock. Earlier in his career, he was a private markets investor at SURA Mexico Pension Fund and SURA Asset Management. He began his career at BTG Pactual. David received a B.Eng. in management and a graduate degree in corporate finance from EIA University. He is a CAIA Charterholder.
