Previously, Matt was an investor focused on software and technology companies with the private equity firm Summit Partners. Earlier in his career, he worked as an investment banking analyst in the leveraged finance group at UBS in New York. Matt graduated cum laude with a B.S. in business administration and finance from the University of Southern California.

Erwin Mock is a managing director and head of Capital Markets at Thoma Bravo. Based in San Francisco, he joined the firm in 2015. Erwin oversees Thoma Bravo’s capital markets activities related to new investments and existing portfolio companies, and is also responsible for managing and helping grow the firm’s relationships with investment banks, direct lenders and debt and equity investors. Prior to Thoma Bravo, he served as a managing director at UBS Investment Bank in the leveraged finance group. Previously, he had several leveraged finance and restructuring advisory roles at RBC, UBS and Credit Suisse /DLJ. Erwin graduated with a B.A. in economics from Stanford University.

Graduating magna cum laude, Ned earned his B.A. in public policy with distinction from Duke University.
