Amy Coleman Redenbaugh is a managing director and chief financial officer at Thoma Bravo. Based in Chicago, she is responsible for overseeing all of the firm’s finance/accounting, tax, portfolio valuation and financial reporting. Since joining Thoma Bravo in 2008, Amy has been integral to developing and leading the firm's financial strategy across its global investment platform. She is also a member of the firm’s leadership team.
Amy holds a B.S. in business administration and accounting from Indiana University of Pennsylvania. She began her career as a tax manager in the private client services group at Arthur Andersen. Before joining Thoma Bravo, she served as CFO of Alpha Capital Partners, a family office and small private equity investor, and subsequently CFO of Quinten Road Management, an asset manager formed by GE Antares and Northwestern Mutual to provide junior capital for middle‑market leveraged buyouts.
A respected leader among CFOs and the broader private equity community, Amy is frequently quoted in industry outlets, including Private Funds CFO, and regularly shares her expertise at industry events, such as SuperReturn’s CFO/COO summit in Amsterdam and Markets Group Private Equity Chicago Forum. Private Funds CFO also recognized Amy in its “Changemakers” list, which celebrated CFOs who helped shape the role within private equity.
