Portfolio Spotlight Series features Quorum Software, the leader in digital transformation for the oil and gas industry. Quorum’s portfolio of finance, operations and accounting solutions empowers more than 1,300 companies to streamline operations that drive growth and profitability across the energy value chain. As the oil and gas industry faces the dual challenges of COVID-19 paired with historically low oil prices, Quorum is supporting its customers and communities in the following ways:

  • Supporting the Remote Workforce: Quorum is offering a selection of its software and services for free or at reduced pricing through its myQuorum On Demand software platform. This cloud-based suite of operations and accounting software enables Quorum’s customers to transition to a remote workforce smoothly. For an industry unaccustomed to remote work, Quorum is supporting its customers to make the transition through rapid project deployments, complimentary 90-day licenses or reduced subscription fees.
  • Supporting Continuing Education: COVID-19 has disrupted in-person training and educational programs typically provided through local professional associations and trade organizations. To support the continuing education needs of the oil and gas industry, Quorum developed free online coursework for oil and gas professionals to support the certification requirements of five regional and national industry organizations. Quorum also donated student licenses of its myQuorum Land Management software to the Texas Tech University Rawls College of Business.
  • Qnections LIVE 2020: A three-day virtual conference in late June, Qnections LIVE addressed how energy professionals can use software to increase efficiency, which is especially important given the current market volatility and workplace disruption caused by COVID-19. The free online event featured 12 learning tracks and 68 sessions that spanned various industry sectors and qualified for continuing education credits with five professional organizations. Industry leaders joined subject matter experts from Quorum Software to discuss industry best practices, oil and gas software innovation and digital transformation. All proceeds from the event benefit the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.
  • Supporting Local Communities: Transitioning to a virtual conference presented an unexpected opportunity to increase the company’s support for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, a cause championed by Coastal Flow, a subsidiary of Quorum Software. Coastal Flow hosts “Crawin’ for the Cure,” an annual crawfish cook-off with proceeds benefitting the Texas Gulf Coast Chapter of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. When the event was canceled due to COVID-19, Quorum committed to donating all proceeds from Qnections LIVE to the CF Foundation and co-developed an online auction to raise funds for the foundation.

We are proud of the important work Quorum Software is doing to help its customers and its communities through this disruptive time. Thank you, Quorum!
